Hello, I'm a newbie :-)
Hello Everyone,
I have just come into possession of a 2001 XJR. I even traded my 2000 Miata for this car.
The XJR has a matte black Plasti Dip on it, and dark tinted windows..
My experience with Jaguars is simply knowing others who have had them :-) As a child growing up in Australia, my parents had a MK 2 and I believe a MK10. My uncle had an E-Type and another a XK=150. This was late 60's, early 70's. Nothing since then.
I live in Texas now, and it's darn hot. 98 deg today!
Most everything works on the car, but it does have some issues!
I have average mechanical skills, having changed timing belts, water pumps, alternators, radiators, etc. I have not ever rebuilt an engine......
I am looking forward to all the advice and help this forum can offer!

Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Don't think about what could go wrong until it does. That only makes you worry about stuff that might never happen.
Someone will be along soon to direct you to the correct section where you can get help and advice, or just hang out with other owner/drivers.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
