Default Hello from Ireland

Hello all. I recently acquired a low mileage (65000 miles) X350 3.5 from a customer who can't drive any longer. I work in a car repair shop and have been servicing it for him for a long time and was keen to buy this car when it was offered. It has the factory SatNav and everything in the car works, it drives like new. 40 years ago when I was 19, I had a 1971 XJ6 with manual gearbox and overdrive and I always regret selling that car as it was my favourite car of all the ones I've owned.
I had to respray the wing on the X350 as it was scratched and the owner had tried to paint it, apparently with a sweeping brush. I'll upload pics in my next post.

I’m having problems trying to upload four images into one post from Dropbox, so I’ll have to upload them one post at a time.
Here is the X350 as I received it.

Finished job. I need to replace the damaged bumper mounding and take care of some paint lifting on the wheels soon.

TEST IMAGE UPLOAD

No problem with the images. Must not be using the "add another image" procedure ........

Welcome to the forums Steve1960,

Good to have you with us. I did a test upload of your four images to see if there was a problem with filesize but they are well withing the forum limits. I think you must have missed the "upload another image" process.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Steve,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Sometimes, the scratches are preferable to botched attempts to fix it. Nice Job!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
