Hi all,
Have followed this forum for many years and this is my first post. I have a 2000 XKR convertible with 90.k miles.
This weekend decided to tackle the dreaded valley hoses and so far have got a few questions and one riddle I’ll post since upon removing one of my valley hoses found a magnetic pin inside the water pump output nipple that I’m not sure was left there by Jaguar or not.

You have obviously already found the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also use the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.
