Default Hello from Michigan

Here are a couple picture of my newly acquired 1986 XJ6. It was in a pole barn and the owner died. I found out about it and went to have a look to see what condition is was in... to my surprise the car was very clean. Although it had not been driven in 15 years, it started and ran immediately.

I changed the fluids and rubber components of the engine. So far, 2000 miles have been mostly trouble free. Had a fuel pump/relay problem recently but that has been fixed thanks to some input from other members.

Wow .... that's gorgeous!
Sad about the original owner, but happy for you.
(Jealous, too!)

BTW, the rims are a set of 79's I bought after the initial purchase. It came with the Kent style but the tires were 15 years old and drove terribly. Picked up these rims with decent tires for $120. Good spares while I shine up the original ones and look for new tires.

Sneal, welcome to the forum. That is a great find you have there. I am from Michigan, but live way down south now, can't wait to get home. Stick around--this site is really great.
GO BLUE!!------------Scott
