Hello From The Netherlands
Hello,
It's been a very long while since I last visited a Jaguar Forum. Ever since I was 15 and my father bought a 1987 Sovereign, I love (and sometimes have loved a bit less) Jaguars.
I moved quite a bit in my life, mostly in Europe and my father's XJ40 came with me for a while, until it was beyond economic repair at 400.000Km.
At present I own a 1987 XJ-SC 3.6, bought in 1999 and still in pristine almost original condition (except for a road legal and reversible conversion to 2+2 using Coupé donor parts) as well as several other British cars which I basically maintain myself.
I can share my car's experience with my father and brother who also own some Jaguars (1969 XJ6 4.2, X350 and S-Type) and it's good like this, because we do most of the mechanical work ourselves.
Due to common passions and interests, I admit having been quite pampered to take care of two E-Types (3.8 FHC and V12 Cabrio) for a friend while was unable to do due to circumstances (and maintain them as well, which at times I found less pampering...)
So this is more or less my Jaguar background, looking forward to the Forum.
Best,
