Hi all,

First I'd like to thank this forum for helping me make the leap to buying a Jag. I spent countless hours reading the posts here trying to learn all i could so I'd know what I was getting into.

Having never driven one, never actually seen one in person, I decided I had to have a used 2003 Black XKR Convertible with 48k miles, that was literally half way across the country. I flew out, picked up my new baby, and we became acquainted on the 1200+ mile drive back home. Definitely a leap of faith, but she fits me like a glove and purred like a kitten the whole way. I can officially say I am in love with my Jag and look forward to continuing to learn from this forum.

1200miles, so a lunch run then, WELL DONE.

Many would not do that., I do, and constantly state, "ya gotta have FAITH mate", mainly in the V12 sections.
