Welcome to the forum Steve,
Two S-Types? You must have really hated that Toyota.
Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. If you're new to this model, the 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You may also like to visit the US North East Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/north-east-us-me-nh-vt-ma-ri-ct-nj-ny-pa-35/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forum.

Thanks, everyone!
Thank you one and all. As for the Toyota, with 220K miles it was still running great but I longed for a car with a more comfortable, quieter ride. We have crappy roads here in NJ and I just got tired of every pothole and road seam jarring my kidneys loose. There's really no comparison between the ride of the Jags and the ride of the Toyota. So what if I now buy Premium and get worse gas mileage; it's only money, right?

Thanks, Richard. I've never owned a car with the comfort level of the S-Type; am enjoying it immensely as it's a pleasure to drive. Getting one for my wife made her the happiest girl in the world and elevated me to the status of superhero! So yes, there's definitely something to be said for having 2 Jags in the barn.
See you around the forum,
Steve

Sorry to say Steve we did not fair well with Sandy. We live on the mainland side of the bay right across from Mantolokin, the hardest hit area. On the good side now after 3 1/2 months we are back in the house but still fighting with the insurance company.
The out pouring of help from so many people, even from people from across the pond like Fraser made it so much easier to handle.

So sorry to hear this, Barry. I knew you guys got clobbered. My heart goes out to you and the other families that have been displaced and have lost so much. Thankfully the injury count was extremely low, but that's little consolation.
My best to you and your family with the hope that life returns to normal (or a reasonable facsimile) sometime soon.
