Hello! New Prospective F-TYPE Owner
Hello Jaaaaaaaag enthusiasts!
My name is Moose, and I've been allured by the beautiful F-TYPE. I was originally searching for a Cayman S, and after it got knocked out of the running by a bore scoring issue, I decided to take a step back and do some more 'drive homework' to reaffirm if I wanted to continue down the treacherous path that is older Boxster/Caymans. Turns out, the F-TYPE has a tractor beam, and it has caught me! Between that spine tingling startup sound and her drop dead gorgeous looks, I've become hooked. I haven't purchased an F-TYPE yet, but I'm seriously looking at two 2015 F-TYPE Rs in the glorious Italian Racing Red.
I am also the proud owner of a 2001 Mazda Miata Special Edition (British Racing Green!) and started autocrossing her earlier this year with the local SCCA chapter. I live in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia (Virginia Beach/Williamsburg area) and am looking forward to potentially becoming a part of the Jaguar community. I joined the forum largely to learn more about the F-TYPE and to benefit from the expertise here in hopefully finding a quality example for me to enjoy both as a daily and occasional track monster. I'm going to create a new thread shortly for help on finding a good shop for a pre-purchase inspection as well as other useful information for a particular car I've found.
Thanks in advance everyone!
Cheers,
Moose

Hello, Moose,
Congratulations on your new F-type jaguar!
LOL @ Tractor Beam!! I've never thought of it like that, but that's a Very good description of the allure Jags have on the heart and soul.

Well, congrats aren't quite in order yet - I've still got to get a PPI done on the car I'm interested in and see if I can make a deal with the selling dealer - fingers crossed though! And yea, the allure is strong, hehe.
