Hi all. I'm Robert and I just picked up an '88 XJS that needs a lot of work. I joined this forum to learn how to do that. I'm a Navy Reserve diesel mechanic, and an industrial maintenance tech for my regular job, so I have some idea what to do with a wrench, but this is my first Jaguar. I've been into Mercedes diesels for about the last 15 years. I tried to upload a pic, but it doesn't seem to want to go.
To upload a pic, click on the Image button and then use the Upload Files screen to link to online storage or upload from your device.
I prefer to use upload rather than link as the image is then stored on the forum servers and doesn't disappear as happens when an online storage folder is moved.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
