Hi, I just joined the forum today and posted a thread in the wrong area. However I received a kind reply from Graham who offered some help and advice. I live in Southern Ireland, Co. Cork in fact but work in the Dublin area. 2 months ago I bought a 2014 XF Luxury from a private vendor and I'm already experiencing problems with restricted performance. I need to use the car a lot for work which is one of the reasons I bought my first Jaguar (comfort etc). Information from diagnostics points towards EGR and DPF, mechanic said a new EGR would cost 800 Euro and that doesn't include labour. Heading back to Dublin and intend calling to mechanic tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Regards, Gabriel.

Hello, Gabriel,
I'm sorry to read your new Jaguar is giving trouble already. I hope you can get it fixed for a Lot less than 800!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Gabriel,

I hope the mechanic has some better news for you today. It will help in getting accurate advice from members if you can post the actual error codes and not just the descriptions or your mechanic's diagnosis.

Graham
