Cool Hello From NYC

I've always found Jaguar vehicles to be elegant. So when the opportunity presented itself I ended up with a green 2002 Jaguar X-Type. The body had no rust. Non that i saw anyway. A few scratches here and there. The engine was smooth. Under the vehicle was surprisingly clean. No grease or signs of oil leaks. The test drive was smooth. Even tho I had to brush up on my manual shifting as it is a 5 speed manual trans. But it was a joy to drive. The owner was the second owner. He did mention that there was an air condition issue where it only blows hot or warm air. And that it would over heat in bumper to bumper traffic conditions. Seemed like a simple fix. I know a few mechanics that can fix it. So on the first day I took it to work. I figure I can have it emission inspected and maybe while they're at it, they can see about the overheating and a/c issue. Half way there in normal traffic it over heated. Had to have it picked up on a flatbed. So they replaced the radiator. And now comes the issue. The cooling fan control module is bad. and I see so many "new" ones for sale in Amazon and E Bay. So I ordered one. Now it seems I needed to research more because the is a 3 and 4 pin model. And non come with the wire harness that will cost less than $295. Stay tuned.
