Hello from NZ!
Hi all,
My father has given me his trusty 1964 2.4 Mk2. It was once upon a time his daily driver, weekend cruiser and eventually became a heap that only moved when shifting houses.
Rather than sitting there doing nothing, the plan is to get the thing started and have it running and moving under its own power. Getting it road legal is unlikely for the time being...
All original (bar the radio), numbers matching with issued sheep skin car covers.
Watch this space... I'll definitely be lurking around at restos and tips and tricks etc.
Cheers,
Jay

Welcome to the forum Jay,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Be sure to get the transfer in writing - he's very likely to want it back once you get it running!
I can see you've already found your way to the MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the New Zealand Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/new-zealand-97/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
