Hello from Orlando ... whats my XJS worth??
Hey there ....
I'm Mike in Orlando Florida and I recently acquired 2 Jags from an estate about 2 years ago.
The previous owner kept every receipt for everything he did to the cars ....
I'm a real novice with European cars and have no idea the value of each of these vehicles.
I will start with the 1976 Jaguar XJS - it was converted to a convertible by Coach works Unlimited in the 90's. It is a V-12 Pre - HE if I am correct.
The car is in pretty good condition for sitting under a house for the last 19 years.
Cloth top looks brand new and the interior looks great except the head rests.
Gas tank was removed and pump and filter and all the fluids were changed.
The car runs rich on the drivers side but starts right up and drives fine.
The second is a 1986 Jaguar Sovereign ... There are letters from Jaguar that told him the car was originally shipped to Italy and was shipped to the US in a grey market.
It was converted to US emission standards and was registered in GA.
This car needs a new master cylinder but otherwise starts and drives nice.
Exterior is clean and interior will need some cleaning and the wood inlays replaced.
I am thinking about selling the cars but really have no idea their worth.
I look to you all as the experts here and hope that you can help me to understand their fair value.
Thanks in advance

A late welcome to the forum Mike,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way around the forums so there's no need for any links from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
