I am the new owner of a 2005 XJ Vanden Plas and it's great to see such a powerful community of Jag enthusiasts online! I believe that I've found a decent, relatively low mileage car that has been well taken care of so far. I'm an aircraft mechanic by profession so I'll try to perform as much of the maintenance as I can using the wealth of info you all have posted on here, as well as contribute what I learn along the way.
