Hi, just stumbled across this forum so thought I'd say hello. Happy owner of a 400S convertible F type. Looking forward to exchanging tips and hints and solving the inevitable problems.......and no thats not my house !!

Not until the warranty runs out !!

Its a smart looking car, but an absolute nightmare to keep looking good. Its been detailed and a coating applied, but the slightest bit of dirt and it looks horrible

Ross,

It looks to be the same current shade of BRG as my XK?

Strangely, after a succession of blue Jaguars, I'm also finding this colour is rather a dirt magnet!

All the Jaguar 2 door models suffer from gravel rash on the front bumper and, because of the low angle, the bonnet is also susceptible. The darker the colour, the more noticeable and more annoying it is.
