Hey have recently acquired a Daimler Double Six Auto V12 1993 but really don't know much about these cars. From what I've researched, mine looks a bit different with the tinted rear lights and single front lights.... here's some pics... Does it look like a standard model? Any info?
The body style is XJ40 in production from 1986-94 with various engine options. In the UK it was available in both Jaguar and Daimler specifications. All Daimlers had the square headlights. The Daimler Double Six was produced in 1993-94 and 1102 were built. Total XJ40 production was 208,733 so yours is a rarity. It was also the most expensive variant at £51,700.

Unfortunately rare doesn't necessarily mean valuable. The V12 is a superb and desirable car but the majority of would-be buyers are put off by the fuel costs and the complexity of the power unit.
Thing is, I need to sell this car (it belonged to elderly family member) and don't know too much about it.
Not even 'webuyanycar' know how much to value it at...
I've seen a few advertised privately between £8-9k that haven't sold in months. Trade specialists are listing good ones with full history at £5k. If you need to sell in a hurry then it could still struggle at half this figure.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
