Welcome to the forum Rally,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You are going to have to get a scantool on your S-Type to read the error codes. Without those it's guesswork and speculation.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Other Areas Region forum by following this link Other Areas - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

thankx for a warm welcome and instructions for the forum, just a quick reference to the problem I'm having with my car.

my jag s-type 2001 3L v6 model is in limp mode after I was fiddling with the main fuse box trying to get the air-conditioning started.

after starting the car the vehicle goes into Engine Fail Safe mode with the following errors

P1000 System check on completed since last memory cleared.
P1574 Throttle position sensor disagreement between sensor
P1576 Accelerator pedal position unavailable.
P1577 pedal position sensor disagreement between sensor.

I have changed the accelerator pedal and the throttle body which I have bought from E bay second hand.

the errors are still the same. please advise as I cant afford the dealer workshop for repairs.
