Default Hi all

Hello everybody,

My wife and I are the happy new owners of a 97 xj6 we recently found with 50,000 miles, and no rust (Florida car). It needs some love and a paint job, and we're both looking forward to getting it ready for the road this coming spring.

I grew up in Michigan and SE England, and I know my parents (English) would be chuffed to see us with a Jag in our garage! I had a 06 xj8 a few years ago, but it's era of technology scared me in regard to the cost of maintaining it. The '97 is something I am more comfortable with working on my own.

I have already gleaned some great info here, from fixing the cupholder, the boot/trunk switch, and the fan relay.

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Welcome to the forums Brian,

All those years away from England and you can still be "chuffed".

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
