Hi to All.. I am New member..
Hi,
my name is M.Kemal, i am from Istanbul Turkey, i currently live in Germany - Ahlen ( NRW ).
Last week i bought for the first a Jaguar.. It was always a dream for me.. My pocket was only large enough
to buy a S-Type 2.7 D build 2005. But it is racing green..
I fall in love with this Jag and i bought it. The engine has Rod bearing problems and blue smoke from the back.
That was the for a cheap buy. Now i want to repair it and i am thing of to buy a second engine from UK. I found some
on ebay. Maybe i will take one of them. Or has anyone some advises for me?
Sorry for my bad english.. Hope u will say all welcome to me and my jag.
Thanks a lot
bye
This is my loved car

Hello, Mustafa,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
We often read about how new owners fall in love with their new Jaguars. I'm one of them too!
Someone will be along soon to direct you to the correct section where you can find help and advice about your engine.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forums M.Kemal,
Buying and fitting a used replacement (second) engine is a good plan. Much less cost than rebuilding the original engine.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
