I just purchased a 2002 X-Type, 57K, Beautiful Silver with Black Leather.

My name is Frank and liver in Burlington MA.

At 52 it was time for dad to get something for himself.

It has some issue of course. The infamous P0174 engine code, a leak in the transfer box and a airbag light that has a mind of its own.

Other than that it runs perrrrrrfect on the road.

I just wanted to do my intro and will be picking all your brains as time goes on.

Lovin the X type..........had an 02 2.5 myself some time ago, really got used to the AWD.
An 02 being one of the earlier models means you may still have a few niggles here n therre that were resolved on the later ones.............these are all documented here and the guys will be happy to help too.
