Default Hi - back in an S type again (type R content)

... but with 400 lbft, a little more than the mere 300 ish of my last one Hi all. Just 2 minor issues - I got my last one new and specified a manual box in a diesel (not a great combo in any car my experience) and I'm getting used to the ZF auto in this one. I remember much praise for it when it first came out, but it feels a little dated now IMHO. There's a brief but definite slur when putting the hammer down from rest which steals some of the drama from such mighty reserves of power. Also, my last one had bluetooth and since this one had a 'phone fitted, I just assumed (stupidly) that this one would too (it has everything else including voice and an (analogue - doh) TV). I've read through various threads and I'm as confused as ever as to what to do about this, so I guess I'll get posting shortly. I'm a long time member of some Lotus boards, but I was finally lured to join by the twin screw supercharger thread. Tempting I'll post this elsewhere if I don't get an answer here, but is this just how XF slush boxes feel (I seem to remember the unit on an XF I had a few years back for a few days feeling the same)?

... that was so wierd - I felt bad about putting up a pic of the Elise and none of the Jag, so I quickly searched for a pic on the 'net and found mine in the list! Well - now it's an avatar

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link to the S-Type section advice, help and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
