Default Hi from Down Under

Hi all
Just joined, have had the S-type for about 10 years and have been slowly bringing it back to a quality ride. Ford didn't do the best of jobs with this model but I love the car all the same.

cheers
Rob

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum

If you want to participate in any State based stuff, it would be good if you could add where you are in the location (State at least). Hope the forums help you with your car, lots of good info and helpful people here.

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum.
Is that S-type or MKII/MKII S type?

Welcome gypsy.

Default Welcome to Jaguar Forums

Hi Rob; welcome and greetings from the east coast with one foot in the Pacific.

+1 to what Grant and Steve have already posted. Use the links that Graham, Norri and Jim have provided . . . and yell if you need help.

Sorry to hear your Cat has a few issues. Good friendly help here. Suggest you start by downloading all the reference tools like workshop manuals (JTIS), wiring diagrams, TSBs etc you can lay your hands on. One of our members Gus offers free download of a heap more at <www.JagRepair,com>. He's a generous fella, but a hearty "Thank you" would be appreciated. Then read up on OBDII tools, ranging from the cheap generic tools to more sophisticated but still not expensive dealer level laptop or notebook based tools.

We are always happy to help with local knowledge so join in the cross border chatter. We may not be huge in numbers but we like to keep the pot boiling. Join in mate.
Best wishes,
Ken
