I technically 'joined' the forums back in 2012, but have recently decided to become 'active' since the XJR is now going to be my daily driver and I figure I might as well get to know my fellow jag enthusiasts.
The car is a 2003 XJR, black on black, with the R1 (brembo / bbs) package. Only 90k miles on it so she's still young at heart. I originally bought this car for my wife but she only drove it for year before growing tired of the dated electronics and then the car sat in the garage for a few years with only the occasional outing. Lent it to my dad for a year and he really did a number on it (no washes, left to bake out in the sun, filthy interior) so I had to rescue the car and took it back. I've decided to make it my daily driver so I'm going to do my best to restore her to her former glory (and maybe even a little more).
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
