Default Hi from (not so) sunny Scotland

I stumbled on this site whilst looking up on how to reprogram remote fobs, so figured I should register and say hi.

Of course the funny thing is I never expected to own a Jaguar. Always quite liked them, but more for other people, like my Dad.

My 11 step route to Jaguar ownership went something like this:
1. Had a Mondeo. It was a good car, but not special.
2. Head gasket went whilst on motorway, engine seized.
3. Decided I should go for something cheap and reliable.
4. Decided I'd ideally get a Toyota Avensis.
5. Spent a month taking buses.
6. Started widening my search.
7. Went to see an MG ZS.
8. Saw Jag at the same dealer.
9. Found myself licking the windows.
10. Not sure what happened next.
11. Found myself a bunch of money poorer but driving a Jaguar.

I'm trying to figure out what step 10 was, but I think I'm glad it happened

Welcome to the forum Biggles266,

12. No money left to go out on a Friday night

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-x300-xjr-26/ to the X300 section for help, advice and information. If you're totally new to Jaguars, the 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You may also like to visit the UK Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ to find other members in this country.

Hope you got the fobs reprogrammed OK.

Enjoy the X300 and the forum.

Graham

Welcome. I live in an area also with more than its share of cloudy days. Micro scratches in your paint won't show as much.
