Thumbs up Hi Yall

Hello everyone I don't know what to say about myself just that I'm semi retired and love cars.

I have a 69 Mustang convertible I built from the ground up. An 82 Jaguar XJ6 with 80,000 miles on her, paints a little dead but I love her. She has never given me any major problems.

Of Corse I do good maintenance on all my vehicles. I just bought a 2001 Jaguar XK8 conv. and am going over it stem to stern to make sure everything is as good as possible. Otherwise I just work on cars, houses, or anything that needs fixed.

I hate to pay someone to do something that I can do. And I'm not afraid to take on a task that I need to learn about first.

I might add that I am not that big on the computer thing. I find it annoys me and takes to long to find what I am looking for. I don't like spending my time busy with no payoff.

Basically this is my first venture into this realm so I guess we will see how it goes. It may be a while before I do any pictures because I have never loaded pictures in before and will need to take some.

You have a thread in XK8/XKR on your transmission question. This is the direct link to it:

Alternatively, you can find it by going to XK8/XKR section. Threads are ordered with 'stickies' at the top followed by posts by latest time in descending order. Scroll down the list to find it.
