Hi all

I have a 2002 X-Type (silver out, black leather in), 5-Speed with about 61,000 miles on it. I love the car and use these forums to solve little things in my skill set. Right now im trying to replace a worn leather shift knob and ripping shift boot.

Thanks in advance for any help everyone. Now if I can figure out how to put my car info into my signature ill do that next.

Welcome to the forum Homey,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar Forums.

I know you've already found your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

To add vehicle details to your Signature, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

thanks all

I have been using these forums for a while but finally got it all registered and signatured. I even got the JTIS app installed on an old XP box I still had (didn't want to muck up my Win7 with virtual pc and xp mode).

Now if I can just get the right shift knob for my car! lol

Great support here!
