Bought an 05 S-Type with 31,000 miles on the clock on the first of December. I live in Atlanta, GA, have a beautiful 22 month old daughter and another on the way.

Unfortunately I've had very bad luck so far. A Honda Pilot ran into me in January. I finally get my car back and the CEL pops on...$900 later and they still have no idea what the hell is causing it.

I'm also into motorcycles, video games, knives, watches...(too many hobbies).

anyway, that's me!

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope no one was injured.

Follow Norri's link to the S-type tech section for advice, help and information. You should post the codes to get the best advice on possible causes of the CEL.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I did. Afraid I may have paid the shop a little more cash than necessary to do so but nothing I can do about it now. At least the jag is purring nicely again.
