Well, after a long time of thinking about it, I've finally pulled the trigger and bought a Jag. It's a 2005 XKR 4.2S in Jaguar Racing Green with ivory leather and about 45k miles on the clock. From what I can tell it's in excellent condition, but I still need to get it up on a ramp and take a proper look underneath. Hopefully I'll be able to do some of the basic maintenance myself, and as I'm London-based, anything more serious I'll hopefully take to Tom Lenthall in Reading.
