Dealership Service Advisor here. Here to learn and to help. I will say that I take to heart all of the times I've read about members having a bad experience at a dealership. I truly believe that all of us are in this business because we're passionate about the vehicles and we genuinely want to help people enjoy them. Some of us are probably better than others at communicating that.

We're a fairly busy service department, but I'll usually log on once a day to see what's going on. I'l probably hang around more as things slow down through the winter.

Nice to meet everyone! Yell at me if there is something I can help with (except please don't actually yell -- I get enough of that at work in person!)

Welcome aboard. I admire you're fortitude. You're on the front line at the dealership service desk and, as if that wasn't enough, here you are putting yourself in harm's way on our discussion board.

There's no shortage of anti-dealer sentiment here but members are also receptive and appreciative when hearing 'the other side of the story'. I have 30+ years experience in dealership service and parts departments and will sometimes chime in an attempt to add that perspective.
