Hello!

Was on here ages ago as a knucklehead buying his grandpa's 2000 XJ8. 6 months after that, tensioners snapped and the car was totaled. Painful lesson learned back in 2013.

Joined Bring a Trailer ~2 years ago now that I have a big boy job and have been on the hunt until yesterday eve where I won a 58k mile Spindrift White over Oatmeal XJR. My first car growing up was a white Volvo S70 T5 and this XJR was a throwback to the original Volvo plus the XJ style I came to love from growing up around XJs.

I take delivery next week and plan to get it over to Top Line Jag in Northern VA for the works (aka the tensioners and a good once over). Future plans include the JagDroid BT, potentially some light paint touch up and paint protection, and then I'd like to explore potentially doing the full Mina kit or some variant on getting a little more oomph out of it. This will be my daily and I plan to keep it as long as I can (or until they start going for over MSRP on Bring a Trailer ).

Edit - in browsing the forums, maybe not on the Mina side of things.
