Default Intro

Hi everyone! I am a new owner of a 2004 XKR convertible. I've wanted a Jaguar since 1957 when my dad brought home an XK120 FHC for a week end. It only took me 57 years. The car is almost too beautiful and so British. I have embarked on the project of trying to find the phone manual (or supplement). I found the navigation manual on the internet and downloaded it. The DVD in the car is from 2002 and finding an update is going to be a trick I am looking forward to trading information and experiences with all people who got to Jaguar land before I did. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

Be sure to check out the XK8/R section.

If your DVD has the clock on the nav. screen, you have the latest one. If you have the 'leaper', you can upgrade to 2003, but unfortunately that is the latest upgrade without aftermarket equipment.

If you have a SIM card you may be able to reactivate your phone, but many people prefer to add aftermarket Bluetooth with their existing phone.

PM me if you need more information.
Steve

Welcome. Nice car! Too bad you caught the disease 57 years ago. There's only one way out now and you managed to find it. I'm sure you'll enjoy driving Jaguars and maybe some kid will see yours and catch the disease as well.
