Hi. My name is Jamie from BC. Just bought 1978 XJ 12L from scrap guy for. $500. Car doesnt run but body straight and rust free. Couldnt stand to see it crushed. Fuel injection seems to be the problem. I must be a sucker for punishment.

We had two issues with the XJ12 in the UK - serious rust and fuel injection. Good to hear you only have one of these!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

My father had a 70s XJ 12L when I was young. First Jag I ever got to drive, it hooked me forever. It sure was a sweet ride, hope you get her sorted out and back on the road.
