Default Intro

Brand new Jaguar owner in British Columbia Canada. Looking to find out more about my car - a 1989 Jaguar Convertible V-12. This new Jaguar world is foreign to me, so I will start with a question someone might be able to answer for me.
When I Google pictures of 1989 V-12 convertibles, the gear selector lever and the steering wheels don't look the same as mine. Mine has a wood insert in the steering wheel with Jaguar TWR embossed on it and the shift lever is round. The pictures I've seen have a T shaped shift lever and the steering wheels look padded or leather.
Any thoughts that might put me in the know?

Welcome.

The TWR is the key to a rare "special" build of cars. Lots of copies out there, but the real deal is the real deal.
