I also noticed your post that says new members have a qualifying period, is that 10 posts or something else.

Gary,

YES - the qualifying period includes a preset number of days (3) that you must be active, and a minimum post count (10). Once these are reached, you will automatically have full forum access to be able to download attachments and run links.
