Default Introduction

Hello

1986 XJS project owner. Owned the car for quite a few years, but was parked after the 1st year of ownership. I was looking at it the other day and thinking I should get it back on the road.

But unfortunately, I have 3 projects ahead of it.

I have surfed here on occasion, but finally joined.

Sometimes those Project Cars elbow their way to the front of the line. And, you wonder why you dropped them?

Thanks to everyone for the Welcome.

As to projects working their way to the front of the line, I have a 35 year old project that has done exactly that.

As to my XJS, it was a Junk Yard Project Purchase, I had gotten it running and drove it for a year, then parked it when I started having CPU issues. I would periodically run it to keep the battery charged and to cycle the gas, until the water pump froze. So I have since picked up another CPU and a water pump, but other projects have come and gone in the mean time. I had consolidated my storages to cut costs and was when my 35 year old project came to the front of the line. So this is where I am at.
