Default Introduction

Hey everybody names Bruce, I'll put that in my information soon, bought a 2006 s type 4.2 three or four years ago and this car has become my pride and joy. Ive lurked on these forums for a while finding information I need to fix my car and just finally joined to gain some more information. You guys are awesome and I appreciate everything you all do for us. I'm American, living in Pennsylvania, the parts stores over here are completely inept at dealing with these cars lol I'll be around pretty often. Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to talking to you all.

Welcome to the forums Bruce,

It sounds like you've already found the relevant model forum but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Bruce,
Yes, Gone are the days when one could walk into a Parts Store and say, "I need a left handed frammis for my Studebaker Hawk, and by the way, can you please tell me how it goes on?" and the Person behind the counter will not only know, but ask you what color frammis would you like. When I was in college there was ONE parts house in town with that kind of knowledge. Now if it isn't Toyota, Dodge, Chevy, Ford or Nissan they're Completely lost.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
