Hi, there. My name is Geoff Pflaumer and I recently became the proud owner of a 2006 X Type 2.2D SE Estate. I had a BMW E46 and also an E36 as my back-up, "project" car, both convertibles, and decided that I really needed something more practical. Enter the Jag to which I have fitted towing gear on the back, a leaper on the front and am installing new aircon bits in between. I have to say that I am blown away by what a nice car this is to drive. Even with 143k on the clock, it starts on the button and delivers more than 50 mpg on a run. It corners very precisely like a front wheel drive car shouldn't and (except for the aforementioned aircon) everything works.
I've joined the Forum to learn and to help others with what limited knowledge I have to share. In truth, I'm as much of a biker as a driver.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
