Just another noob saying hiya
Ok so a little about me
Long time cat lover (owned 7 to date)
currently a 2001 XJ8 in excellent condition (be even better when I change the water pump *sigh*) only 68,000 on the clock.....
Used to be in the motor trade, (back in the days when engines were more mechanical than electrical & the biggest shock was from the HT leads not the price of parts).
Been a plumber for 20 years.
Sheesh I thought it was going to be easy to talk about myself.....its tough
Oh real name John

Hi in2, that's a lot better. Yes it used to be that you could repair anything with just 4 spanners and a hammer. Now....
If you are doing the pump yourself, you will find some good folk over in the XJ8 section.

Hey, for a plumber (or ex-plumber) surely a water pump is right up your alley?
At least it was a broken solder joint in a control module. Water guys and electricity repairs are almost contradictions in terms.
