Thanks for the add.
Found the forum as part of my research into buying a new car. I was originally looking at an XE, did the test drives and decided that the XF is a much more comfortable option. So I'm here a little prematurely, have just placed an order for an XF, 300PS, Chequered Flag, all black with Ebony/Pimento seats. Loads of extras that I should have avoided, but it turned out that I needed pretty much everything available. I can't even think of 18 ways to adjust a seat, but still needed them apparently, not to mention an 825W sound system...
Fingers crossed for delivery in/by March, although I've been told it could be delayed beyond that because of upgrades to the Castle Bromwich plant to support electric vehicle production (which would be disappointing).

Good to hear the forums helped with your new vehicle research. I've had both XE and XF as loan cars when my XK has been with the dealer and my preference would be the same as yours.
Having a delivery date NEXT YEAR makes it sound a long time! I hope there's no delay.

Started shopping in October
Placed order 5th November
And finally..."Fantastic news, the wait is nearly over!
We have received communication from the factory that your vehicle has entered production. Once we have taken delivery of your vehicle the collection inspection (PDI) will start to take place, at this time we will be able to communicate a collection date from us here."
