Hello!
I am new to the Forum and introducing myself and located in the Pacific Northwest in the Portland, Oregon region and a known "petrol head", "gear head" and certifiable "car but" since I was a toddler. Besides my family and enjoying the company of my teenaged son and Scottish Terrier, I enjoy cars and an classic wooden Chris Craft. As far as cars, I have always wanted a Jaguar and recently purchased a very beautiful 2004 XJ8 in BRG to replace a late model Mercedes E350 that was totaled by my wife in a recent accident. She took my SUV and so, I started looking for a Jag in the "right" color of British Racing Green (BRG). So, in our stable of cars we currently own:
1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL in Klassisch Weiss DB-737
1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce in Grigio Metallizzato AR-165 (owned 25 years)
1987 Volvo 240DL in Beige-196 (my son's car that he loves)
1997 Mercedes-Benz E320 in Ruby Metallic DB-572 (owned 20 years with 250,000 miles)
2004 Jaguar XJ8 in British Racing Green Jaguar 1753/HGD
2015 Mercedes-Benz ML250 BlueTec in Lunar Blue Metallic DB-890
With the exception of the Jaguar and the Volvo, the garage is a bit of a tribute to the former Axis Powers or pasta and schnitzel depending upon your perspective
. Enough cheeky humor, I am looking forward to connecting over time!
Best,
Chris
