Just sealed the deal on an 2003 'S' so excited!!!
Had Cadillacs and just needed a mid-life change! Been looking for months for an "S' type in the year, miles, price, color and options that I've wanted. It's a beauty if the pics are of the real car!LOL....having it shipped aways and should lay eyes on it in a few days. I must be crazy but ain't it fun! I'll get a few pics up here in a few days after I get it detailed. Please tell me I'm not the first nut to buy a car sight-unseen and have it shipped across country! Any way a new member here with a newer Jag s type. I'm so enjoying this forum and all the other crazy jag people

I have bought two vehicles off of eBay and neither one turned out bad, although the last one wasn't exactly as I had hoped so we replaced it about a year and a half later. Hope it turns out to be everything you expect.
I'm not far from you, up in Seattle area, and I drove to Portland two weeks ago to buy my XJR. This is the best car I've owned yet!

Welcome Gary. I have bought cars from different countries sight unseen over the phone, never had an issue so far, including my 92 XJ40, which was supposed to be a 5 series BM.

Thanks jag owners for the encouragement in buying a car sight-unseen! I'm hoping to lay eyes on it in about 10 days or less....I'm just praying it's the car that the dealer sent all of the pics of!LOL I'll get some pics after I lay eyes on the kitty!
