Greggg

Here in Fla with my 05 XJR I get 25 and change on the interstates using mid grade gas. This winter on a drive up to Va I got 27 and change using High test.

Two things to consider: the 06 XJR saw a 10 HP increase over the 05 and high test does produce better gas milage but not enough to cover the increased price.

Do let us know how it shakes out for you.

Hey Gregg, welcome to the site, hope you're enjoying the experience so far!

Why not drop by the off topic section and add your pic to the mug shot thread? Maybe join in with some of the banter type threads? There's usually plenty going on!
Don't forget to drop by the regional section too and add your name to the growing list there....

Welcome Greggg, short trips are the killer for gas/mileage averages.

I really don't know what my "overall" gas milage is, perhaps because I don't want to know. "Some people can't handle the truth" as Jack Nickelson so famously said.

So I'll reset my odometer at the next fill-up and post a report in the next week or so. Keep in mind that these kind of numbers are of limited value as my central FL suburban driving may not compare to what you are doing in LosVagas.
