Loved them all my life
Hi all,
I'm an new member - even though your forums helped me diagnose a stuck thermostat and saved me thousands
I've loved and worked on Jags with my Dad for the whole 30 yrs of my life. Sadly he passed about 6 months ago.
I miss his advice - and hope this group will connect me with other enthusiasts to chat with and talk about the best cars in the world.
I still get a little thrill everytime I see her parked and waiting for me to jump in.
Nice to meet you all

Thanks Jamey
Not my favourite I have to admit - much preferred my Series 3 Daimler but that developed too much personality (as in unfixable issues).
I worked on his Series 1, aforementioned series 3 (2 x's respray, skirts, headlining re-trim and Chevy 308 drop-in) and 98 XJ8 and 99 XK.
I would love an XK convertible - but have a silver 2001 S type at the moment.
I assume you have an XJ6 from your username - nice work

Welcome StefMcB from another newbie here
Condolences also hearing of your dad - I went through the same - my father owned 1972 Vauxhall Victor FE 2300 SL Saloon at the time and every inch of her was treated like a princess! I remember the day he got her sprayed and I swear that car had more coats than a Roller! He was smitten to say the least

Hi,
There is the obvious one which is:
Jaguar Car Club of WA but I've never been to a meeting there.
And there's also this one which I was going to go to a couple of months back, except life got in the way again and I didn't get there
Veteran Car Club of WA
I did have some correspondence with one of the guys from the club and they sound very welcoming, but they cater of course for cars over twenty five years old (although you don't have to own one).
