Evening guys,

Been inspired by the post of here and decided to restore my dads Jaguar Mk2 3.4 manual..

I’ve already stripped interior and had floor pans welded in.. was gonna take engine out, front suspension back axle.. and put on rotisserie and strip underside etc.. and go from there..

any advice? Be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum Grant,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

That's a lot of work ahead but the Mk2 is a superb car and it will be well worth the effort.

I can see you've already found your way to the
MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums and good luck with your project.

Graham

Grant,

I recommend you start your own restoration thread in MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum to post photos of progress and ask questions.

Welcome.

A few hours work there, but the satisfaction, PRICELESS.

Good luck.
