At the tender age of 59 I've finally got myself an XK8 from 2002 and delighted with it so far! Looking forward to sorting out a few minor issues which I'm sure this forum can assist with!

Forgive my ignorance - I may just need some pointers to get going, but I have condensation in one headlamp. i understand that this isn't uncommon. Is there a cure? may may be a thread already on this.
Secondly is it true that a set of XKR back exhaust boxes will give the exhaust a little more of a throaty V8 sound?

Headlamp condensation was addressed with a "vent kit" but never satisfactorily resolved. See Headlamps (HID and Halogen) section in the FAQ "sticky" at the top of XK8/XKR threads:

Search for "exhaust" threads for modifications to standard.
