n00b here
Thinking about buying an XKR.......well not thinking about it, I am going to buy one in the next week and having this type of forum support and gathered knowledge is priceless!
I will be doing a few mods to the one I am going to buy like getting some exhaust not out of it and finding a way to use 1st gear......Its a supercharged version I suupose there is some way to reduce pulley size for a few more hosrepower but I will read all that I can here before doing anything.
Glad to be on board

Welcome Cerberus66,
Now you've made the decision, it's going to seem like a very long week until the XKR is actually sitting in your driveway.
Head on to the XK8/XKR section. There's some serious performance seekers there who can advise on aftermarket exhaust and pulley options.

Welcome to the forum.
There are indeed lots of performance tweaks to be done, and a good basis tune-up (K&n pannel filter, check your throttle cable tension, plugs etc) can already help a good bit. And last but not least, a simple obdii meter that can read also live data, would be a great start for tuning. Happy hunting!

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
I just sold one of my muscle cars on eBay and this means the xkr is mine. I'll post pics when I take delivery
