Hello everyone,
I recently took ownership of a 98 jaguar xjr with the intentions of using the front and rear subframes and drivetrain in my 57 f100 project
lol, I may have bitten off more then I can chew on this one but I'm going to give it a good shot. I am hoping to find more knowledge then I have on a myriad of different technical topics including wiring and computer programming.
this car is a lot more complicated than anything I have jumped in to yet.
My name is Bruce and I live in North Carolina, it's good to meet everyone if these forums are as active as my ford forums I'm sure to learn a lot.
looking forward to meeting individuals and sharing back what I hope to learn here, thanks and have a great day Heres my donor girl, not in too bad a shape either. Paid 1200 in the hopes of making most of that back on leftover parts And here is the recipient i think she will make a right nice cruiser with the jag parts transplanted
Rear subframes are a regular donor. Fronts not so frequent, possibly because there's often corrosion issues with the crossmember and the wishbone bushes don't last too long.
Welcome to Jaguar Forums Bruce, Good to have you with us. Enjoy the forum.
