Talking Need Some Answers

Hello All,

I have a 1999 XJ8 Vanden Plas. I bought it used. Love the ride! Having some issues now with no heat. Replaced the heater control valve and auxillary water pump. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum,

The XJ8 is a great ride. Lack of heat is a regular issue with the V8. Head on to the X308 section and the experts there will have the answers.

You should have the cooling system pressure tested. I had same problem with my LS and it was a big crack in the coolant tank. If there's no aparent coolant leaks it could be a head gasket.
