Default Neil B.

Hi all, this is all new to me, so please bear with me.
Well I don't actually own a Jag yet. My 19 yr old son Berian does. Yes he really is 19. Why a Jag? Well he tells me he likes a bit of CLASS. I was hoping he'd follow me and get a motorbike, but no, he likes his cars. Now being a named driver I have had a drive or two and, well lets just say that he has got GOOD TASTE!
We live in Pontlottyn at the top of the Rhymney Valley, Glamorgan and blessed with the beautiful A470 Merthyr to Brecon road. Have rode it many times on a motorbike but when the sun shines (it does come out now and again) in the Jaguar with the scenery flashing by not too much of a flash mind- have to comply with the speed regulations it's pure bliss, comfort second to none.
Haven't had the car long 3 weeks tomorrow (18th) so have yet to take a ride over Llangynidr to Crickhowell another nice road with sweeping bends. Well safe driving. Neil & Berian

Welcome to the forum Neil & Berian,

Congratulations on the XJ8. The last time I drove along the Merthyr road was in 1976 in my XJ6 Series I. I'm sure it will be just as beautiful but probably a lot busier nowadays!

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You may also like to visit the UK Region section by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forum.

Well i have to say welcome to the forum too. Here you find people who have been converted or never knew there is any other car. X308 3.2 litre? I have one of those. And as for Neil I too have one of those! Cheers Neil & Berian from Australia. they are beautiful sounding names Llangynidr to Crickhowell etc. I have to "google" them.

I did have a look for those places. Interesting names like Ysgol-y-Graig Primary School. Looks like a great place to drive.
The "B" after Neil wouldn't stand for Bernard by any chance? Or is that the Berian part? Love to see some Pics of the car in that country setting. Enjoy.
