New 2001 XK8 owner
Greetings all. Just purchased my first Jaguar, a 2001 XK8 coupe. Took quite a while to find the right one, but finally took the leap. Has a few issues that seem fairly common, antenna not fully retracting and passenger seat stuck in reclined position. Plan to do as much work on it myself as I can, though I'm much more familiar with working on older U.S. cars. Glad to have found this site, as I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. :-)

Thank you all for the welcome! So far I've purchased and programmed a second remote fob, ordered a set of owner manuals (and downloaded the PDFs!), repaired the gas filler cap latch so it closes flush, repaired a few plastic trim bits, and replaced the aerial mast, so I'm feeling rather pleased. And my wife thinks the color is very pretty so all seems well so far. :-)
